DV Format ,Long-Time Recording

Both Standard DV tape and Mini DV tape are available for AG-DV2500. Using AY-DV276MQ, Panasonic standard DV cassette permits the AG-DV2500 to record for a full 276 minutes without changing cassettes.

It is easily possible to switch the system between NTSC and PAL just by switching a button. AGDV2500 can record/play back both Standard DV and Mini DV tape in both NTSC and PAL format. (AG-DV2500 can not be used as an NTSC/PAL converter.)

The tape recorded in DVCAM format can be played back directly on AG-DV2500.This makes it possible to utilize DVCAM Tapes as source material for editing. DV recording on DVCAM tape is also possible.

Equipped with an IEEE1394 DV in/out terminal(4pin),the AG-DV2500 can be used for digital dubbing from another DV equipment or for uploading the data to a PC with no loss of quality. It’s also equipped with analogue AV in/out, S-Video in/out, and microphone terminal for narration.

Editing controller can be used with AG-DV2500 via RS-422A 9pin terminal.
Together with utilizing IEEE1394 DV in/out terminal, AG-DV2500 is compatible with digital video production system.(In this case please use AG-DV2500 as a player)
Time code generator/reader are also built-in. (REC-RUN[Preset]/REGEN/DV EXT TC selectable)

Thanks to DC operation, users can use AGDV2500 as both a main recorder and a backup recorder on location shooting. In
addition to DC operation, The AG-DV2500 can also be plugged into an electrical outlet using the bundled AC adaptor.

It weighs only 2.5kg. AG-DV2500 can be also operated in vertically placing with bundled stand.
