This 15 Watt, Class A all-valve guitar
amplifier comes with master volume and spring reverb. The AC15 Top Boost
Reverb is covered in black basket-weave vinyl and the original Vox diamond
grill cloth. The top panel is black with gold legend. The AC15 TBR
features Volume, Treble, Bass, Master Volume, Reverb Depth. Tremolo Speed
and Tremolo Depth controls. High and Low Sensitivity inputs are provided,
as is a Standby switch.
The AC15 Top Boost Reverb has a single
pre-amp channel that is identical to the Brilliant channel on vintage (and
current reissue) AC30 Top Boost amplifiers. By popular demand, we have
added a master volume control to enable the AC15 to produce its warm,
dynamic overdrive tone even at low volumes. The preamp is mated to a 15
Watt, Class A power section utilising two EL84s and a 5Y3 rectifier tube.
The Line Out makes it possible to use the AC15 to drive another amplifier
or to run the AC15 into an external power amp for larger venues. Vintage
tremolo circuitry and spring reverb are also included.
A choice of speakers is available. Choose
between the specially designed twelve inch Standard “Bulldog” speaker
or a Blue Alnico magnet speaker.
